Youth from the Crisis Center attend a Cheyenne Frontier Days rodeo with Don
Had a wonderful day at the rodeo with three youth from the Laramie County Youth Crisis Center. Nothing like taking a child to experience CFD for the very first time!
Background on crisis center
Crisis Center located in the Juvenile Services Center offers a free, safe place for the youth of our community to come to “cool off” while working through issues at home for a few days.
It is also an option for youth who are not able to return to their homes at this time, or youth that are awaiting another form of temporary placement (struggling on this word). These youth are able to work with counselors and their team while learning skills to help be successful when they are able to return to a permanent living situation.
