Burns Day Celebration

On Saturday, June 11, my daughter, two of our granddaughters, my wife and I attended the Burns Day Celebration at Burns WY. We started out the morning with a delicious pancake breakfast and then off to the parade. Trudy Eisele drove us in in her 1992 Ford mustang convertible. It was heartwarming to see all of the people along the parade route that came out to support Burns.
The best part were conversations we had with several community members. The one that stands out the most is the advice our granddaughter, Haley, received from a resident. He told her the trait that will take her farther than anything else is forgiveness. This was sage advice that we all can live by.
