2022 Jail Employee Survey
We have released this survey on our page to counter misleading information presented by other candidates for the sheriffs race.
The goal of any survey of this type is to poll staff to find areas that can be improved and then to take action on those areas.
After reviewing the survey results and discussing solutions with other administrative staff, the areas of concern were addressed and corrected.
One of the biggest issues that was identified by staff was the low pay as compared to other agencies in our area. As of June 26, after extensive discussions with the county commissioners, the compensation for civilian and sworn staff was raised to meet market standards.
The staff will see the new raises on their first pay check in July, 2022.
